RE: Open discussion on walking
I work construction over the spring/summer/fall and get in anywhere between 15-20,000 steps per day. Outside in the sun. It is when i feel the healthiest, my joints don’t hurt, i am able to train 4 days per week with no issue. It’s the perfect recovery, GPP, cardio, etc .

RE: framemaxxing general
@guts i mean at this point extending your clavicle bone would be most if not all anecdotal. I’m familiar with bonesmashing although i don’t recommend it at all, especially in this scenario. Swimming (might???) help. Are you young?

RE: framemaxxing general
@guts ahh i forgot about that lift. Eric bugenhagen style lift. That’s just a variation of a snatch grip deadlift which puts a ton of stimulus on the traps. Also big on looksmaxxing was getting big traps. Just lifting in general, and lifting smart. If you have a 225 OHP, you’re going to have big shoulders no matter which way you put it.

RE: framemaxxing general
Looksmaxxing forum figured this out long ago. High dose k2, OHP, neck curls, etc.

RE: How EXACTLY do I get better at running long distance, swimming, general endurance cardio, etc?
@Lovesickhs18 no problem man good luck. Long walks are great too.

@Lovesickhs18 well you’re interested in rock climbing which i think is very cool, i was into it for a bit not too long ago. I think i did one v4 or v5. I think the idea of badminton or tennis or volleyball are cool especially as they are done in the sun. Sprints are cool. Rucking.

RE: How EXACTLY do I get better at running long distance, swimming, general endurance cardio, etc?
@Lovesickhs18 i mean all in all this is a forum that is about optimizing health and long distance running is inherently against this. Just because we can do it as humans doesn’t mean we should. Essentially any sport that is highly stressful and/or catabolic is against this. I’m not saying you shouldn’t do it, just look for ways to reduce the damage. I do Muay Thai, getting hit in the head is not healthy, so i am looking for ways to do damage reduction.

RE: The Most Peaty Drink Known to Man
@Faustus going to try this out tomorrow, thank you.

RE: How EXACTLY do I get better at running long distance, swimming, general endurance cardio, etc?
@Lovesickhs18 you should look more towards harm reduction in this case then. Damages knees, muscle wasting, incredibly faster aging, and much more. It is not healthy long term at all. Take care of your knees, increase muscle retention, and keep collagen high. Otherwise you’ll look like everyone else in my dads running club with hip replacements and knee surgeries, and wrinkly skin at 45

RE: Ice Cream Evening Chat
@LinDaiyu it is very very good. One of the best I’ve had. Although my friend tried it and he hated it, so i suppose it’s a love it or hate it type

@Norwegian-Mugabe second this. Compare Olympic sprinters vs Olympic marathon runners

RE: Anterior Pelvic Tilt (APT)
@peaty reverse hypers may be beneficial.

RE: Ice Cream Evening Chat
@LinDaiyu that’s pretty funny. I was chocolate peanut butter from a local brand for a while before they changed recipes, then switched to Van Leeuwen honeycomb, now various haagen dazs flavors. Which ones you like?
-
RE: Ice Cream Evening Chat
@LinDaiyu i go to the shop every day lol. I enjoy walking around at night when no one is there, gets me more steps in as well.

RE: Toe fracture. Fastest way to recover
@antihistamanic I second @skylark , CO2 bath, or just wrap a bag around it for 20 minutes / day and exhale a few times into it before dealing with tape.
CO2 bath is 1 cup baking soda 1/2 cup citric acid -
RE: Ice Cream Evening Chat
Gonna be eating the strawberry Haagen dazs for a few weeks before i switch it out again.

RE: Bug: Mobile site sidebar broken, sidebar refuses to close
@ah does clicking off the sidebar work for you to close it? i.e. if you click the icon on left side of screen to open sidebar, then click on far right to close it, it does not close? Or only happens if you swipe to other tab
