RE: Taurine attenuates the development of hepatic steatosis
@PUFADestroyerPPO taurine especially great for combat sports for the prehab / rehab effects on brain injuries.
Protective effects of taurine in traumatic brain injury via mitochondria and cerebral blood flow
Protective effects of taurine against inflammation, apoptosis, and oxidative stress in brain injury

RE: Depression during winter months
@RapexEat supplement vit d3 (10,000 IU) and k2 mk4 (5mg), drink lots of milk for calcium (or cheese), and exercise. Find a club or martial art, but don’t overtrain. Try to avoid staring at screens.

RE: How often do you urinate? How to reduce frequent urination?
@djoats biggest thing I’d say, which is what everyone else including me said is increase sodium and replace water with milk and juice. You’ll be fine, good luck

RE: How often do you urinate? How to reduce frequent urination?
@djoats it’s because you drink mostly water. All that does is increase prolactin among many other things. Your body cannot hold onto “just water”, you need electrolytes. Even then things like juices and milk are better because they are mostly water with added nutrients.

RE: Taurine attenuates the development of hepatic steatosis
@PUFADestroyerPPO id say able to go longer without being fatigued (endurance), and marginally better recovery. But definitely better endurance.
“ Taurine dosing appears to be effective at ~ 1–3 g/day acutely across a span of 6–15 days (1–3 h before an activity) which may improve aerobic performance (TTE), anaerobic performance (strength, power), recovery (DOMS), and a decrease in metabolic markers (creatine kinase, lactate, inorganic phosphate).”

RE: Lower limit MB dose to cause significant pigment alteration in urine
@peatilian i believe i remember haidut mentioning that it is stored in the body with a half-life of 48 hours(?), and the effective dose is 5mg, so 2.5mg ED or even EOD should be sufficient .

RE: Lanolin underrated?
@JosipBrozTayto great. Going to check this out. Not too big of a concern of mine but seems easy and cheap. Thanks

RE: Famotidine on Serotonin and Serotonin Sydrome
@ATP have only taken a few times now so haven’t noticed that yet. Cypro on the other hand i felt Amazing from for about 2-3 months and then all of a sudden it fucked me up. Sleeping 12+ hours which still didn’t even feel like enough. Dose was only 1mg maybe 1-2x week.

RE: Lanolin underrated?
@JosipBrozTayto gonna try this out. Dealing with patchy beard. Extremely hairy on jawline and chin, but little to no hair on cheeks. Makes me look Amish. You apply topically I’m assuming? And what brand do you use? Thanks

RE: Lower limit MB dose to cause significant pigment alteration in urine
@peatilian i have been taking 2.5mg 3-4x week and after a few weeks of doing this I’ve just started to notice blue hue in urine. So on days i lift I’ll cut it down to 500-1000mcg, and on days i train Muay Thai I’ll continue doing the 2.5mg or nothing at all.

RE: Taurine attenuates the development of hepatic steatosis
I like 1g taurine before Muay Thai

RE: wacky and zany exercises that work
Not wacky or zany, but sled drags fixed all knee pain I’ve had. Including injuries.
