Treating underarm candida infection with NDT, in progress.

Howdy
About one month ago, I developed a serious inflammation in my right armpit. I took a course of antibiotics, to no effect. I developed no fever but would have annoying pains and itching at night or after any exertion. The area was nearly rose red, at all times- I had some bumps and the area was clearly highly inflamed. The inflammation continued to get worse and after two weeks, the night pain and itching was truly horrible. I concluded, through mystic commune with Ray's spirit in the neutrino sea and a visit with my dermatologist neighbor, that I had a serious candida infection.
I did a number of topical treatments before deciding that I'd need a prescription antifungal. I did a coconut oil and blended garlic assault and cried out in pain for an hour. Not my finest hour.
I've been tracking my temperature more and noticed that while I was normal temp on the readings, I was feeling cold during the mornings. As such, I determined I might be hypothyroidic and the temp test was not 100% accurate for me, at this moment.
I had a suspicion that this might be the case, before the candida, so I'd bought a bottle of Tyromax which arrived seven days ago. I started taking Tyromax(1gr) in the mornings and have now done 8 doses over six days(on two non-consecutive days I've taken an additional 1gr at night before bed).
Since I began taking Tyromax, I noticed an immediate shift. I had no itching or pain after two days(3gr) and the area has gone from inflamed red to a dulled brown and normal skin tone is beginning to creep back in on the edges. Sensitivity to sweat and other substances is gone.
I will continue updates as progress changes. BTW, current TSH is 1.48.

Interesting. Impressive that you saw results in such a short time
Have you heard this interview where Dr. Peat mentions thyroid, amongst other things, being helpful for fungal infections?
Vitamin D might help too.
Antifungal activity of vitamin D3 against Candida albicans in vitro and in vivo

I have heard that GE episode before but I did not remember the fungal infection part. Thank you for the reminder.
I'd already planned to use the Tyromax but figured I could get in an experiment of anti-fungal properties in while I'm at it. I have a vague memory of many antifungals sometimes being very harsh and especially with an underarm application, the entry into the lymphatic system is something I wanted to avoid, if possible. Barnes talks about repeat or serious skin infections being symptoms as well, that's where I got the idea from.
I still have some redness under the arm but I'm at 11 grs of NDT over nine days. I expect total recovery by the end of one month of dosing.

I am a little surprised by the quick results, as well. I had read from the RPF that NDTs don't work and people never experience results, etc etc. I figured I'd take it for myself to see, so far I've no issues and I seem to be responding well, at least in my immune system. If my immune system is working properly, then that's a sign that energetically demanding activities are being supported well.
I've been very careful to have good consistent sugar intake for the thyroid support and seafood.
I will say that I've been needing to get about an extra hour or so for sleeping and I've been craving higher glycine doses. I did 12 grams last night with orange juice. I suspect that it's due to energy demands and reduction of stress hormones. The irritation of the infection had me on edge for a while and I easily lost 2-3 hours of sleep a night for a week or so due to the night pain. I suspect that I may in a sleep deprivation recovery phase now that there's more energy available for immune function.

@JulofEnoch Do you use magnesium glycinate? You might need the extra magnesium with the thyroid. It should help with sleep too.

My magnesium intake is fine for the situation. I do regular bicarb and mag salt baths. The sleep is restorative sleep, it's not like a fatigue.
