A diet consisting of 90% liquids and 10% solid food has significantly improved my well-being and health, not only in terms of gastric issues. I consume 50g of beef liver daily. I take in large amounts of water and fluids (orange, apple, grape, pomegranate juices, milk, fruit cocktails, eggshells blended with kefir).

I struggle with Crohn's disease, and although I've managed most symptoms through Peat's methods, I still occasionally had gastrological problems, albeit not intense or dangerous, but significantly impairing my life. I definitely have less serotonin, I am calmer and more subdued. I consume about 4500kcal per day. I often mix raw eggs, milk, and butter/coconut oil.

Have you tried such a diet?

@Fructose Do a urine test, you never know, it looks harmful to the kidneys.

@Fructose I want to try a milk "fast"

There was an Indian man that lived 50 years only on milk due to some medical issues.

@ofo I drink a lot of potassium, which I balance with a large amount of salt. It doesn't seem to me that it harms my kidneys. Before adopting this diet, I had an electrolyte imbalance.

@Fructose I’ve been drinking ~gallon of homemade chocolate milk, some OJ, Red Bull, idealabs E and K and feel good. Think I get everything I need from that.

@Fructose Nearly 6 months later, is this still working for you? Has it gotten better/worse or stayed the same?

I used to engage in intermittent fasting so I am wary of people touting a diet of mostly liquids, but it’s so much different when a person is drinking highly nutritious things that are high in glucose. I think Dr. Peat has said simply giving the digestion a break can dramatically lower the inflammation caused by general food-based irritation.
