Slight pain when supplementing TUDCA
-
I started supplementing tudca/ox bile this week (https://lifeblud.co/products/tudca-max) and 2 out of 3 times when I've taken it I'll get this very slight pain in my back right near the bottom of my ribcage. Also my stomach will gurgle and I'll usually have a BM shortly afterwards.
I'm assuming the pain is liver/gallbladder related but wondering what it could be a sign of and considering its pretty transient, maybe lasts 20 mins at most, if it's anything to be concerned about?
For context too, I started supplementing the TUDCA because I was in the ER recently and they ran some tests on my liver and the takeaway is that I had a slightly fatty liver and also one of my liver levels was elevated (still within the normal range but up 10 points from 6 months ago). I've had higher cholesterol and signs of hypothyrodism for the past year so I figured maybe getting things moving with my liver was the right place to start.

@irs I don't know how effective TUDCA really is. I know low ratio of t4/t3 around 1/1 2/1 is good for the liver and would help your hypothyroidism. Coffee is generally recommend by peat as well. Fatty liver is a pretty serious issue and while TUDCA may help I don't think it will solve it.
