    I'm about to buy a car and I don't have a lot of money. The car I'm looking at had it's window left open and got wet from rain. The seller said they cleaned it and dried it out but I'm scared of mold. Should I forget this car? It's a great deal but don't want my health affected.

      @Solrig Steam clean the carpets, seats and upholstery, any visible mold use white vinegar and water in a spray, that's all I can think of.........Good luck😃

        @Not_James_Bond right but I'm wondering what potential exposure to mold could mean for my health versus methods to clean it.

          Buy a chlorine dioxide bomb, close the outside air vent return, and put the bomb in at night. You can find rapid release clo2 online or at a hydroponics store.

                @joe it's a 2014 Nissan ultima for like 3000
                My friend of a friend mechanic said no. He said there's computers all over the place even in the seat so with dampness and unknown water exposure, you just don't know what you'll be stuck with.at first I was worried about health stuff but with this issue I'm doubtful.

                Ac doesn't work too good and I live if Florida

                      @joe he didn't encourage me. I asked him the same question as on here and he gave me his opinion. He's right, interior getting wet creates a massive unknown in terms of damage.

                      I don't know the extent of the wetness, just that it was wet and they had to dry it out. So probably very wet
