Gelatin to Hydrolysed Collagen Powder
-
In my country, I can find some above average quality of unflavored gelatin. But when it comes to collagen peptides, I can only find bad smelling stuff or products with bunch of artificial flavours in them.
I find it really hard to include Gelatin in my diet. I can rarely include them in soup. But, I am outside of my home for at 16 hours per day and couldn't meet the gelatin needs (aiming for at least 15 grams per day) - as Georgi mentioned in a podcast more than 5 grams of gelatin at a single dose might cause intestine to not absorb it. So I couldn't find a way.
But collagen peptides are easier to use and very easily dissolves in almost anything.
When I looked up in Google on how to make Collagen peptides from Gelatin, it is showing up a complex hydrolysing process using protease like enzyme to breakdown gelatin and make them into small molecules.
I have seen people making liposomal Vit C at home. Are therr any proper guide to make Collagen peptides at home?
