      brothers, help. I was looking at some topics from a brother, and he said that his intestinal problem lasted with a diet of rice, milk and yogurt. This makes sense from a bioenergetic point of view, as it fueled his metabolism and eradicated the problem.

      I decided to do similar, I made it white rice, beef and eggs. high carbs and low fat.

      However, I woke up today with lethargy, a little swollen eyes and fatigue, and no motivation, and a little inflammation in the upper intestine, but very little.

      it wasn't the rice, nor the eggs, I believe it was the excess protein, why am I consuming more than 700 grams of meat daily, and five, six eggs, is there any explanation regarding the excess protein?

        @erva-mate excess tryptophan, methionine and cysteine, which strongly cause thyroid inhibition, depression and carbohydrate metabolism disorders. It will be advisable to limit meat and introduce an appropriate amount of gelatin.

          @Fructose how many grams per day? Well, I had even thought about something like that, it is a very strong inhibition of metabolism, I became weak and very lethargic, I don't understand, there are people who advocate high meat consumption and nothing happens to them

            @erva-mate Ray Peat mentioned 2-6 tablespoons of gelatin per day. You can also make bone broth. With any meat consumption, there must be gelatin to balance the unfavorable amino acids.

              @Fructose my goal was to increase testosterone, the emphasis on this is huge when I consume meat, I will exchange the meat for some cheese, milk or eggs

                @erva-mate If you don't eat dairy at all, this may be one of the reasons. Phosphorus unbalanced with calcium can wreak havoc at the physiological level.

                    @Fructose yes, I was lactose intolerant, not digesting even a glass, I increased the starches and reduced the fat and I'm consuming 750 ml per day, I can only consume milk after 2 pm.... I'm going to try to reduce protein and increase carbohydrates and improve milk consumption, reduce or eliminate meat...
