Pro-metabolic Ozempic/glp-1 drug Retatrutide is also a glucagon receptor agonist producing 24% weight loss in obese/"pre-obese" in less than 1 year (available for research)

Retatrutide (also known by its research code LY-3437943), an investigational GLP-1/GIP/glucagon receptor triple agonist currently in clinical development but not yet on the market.
Big pharma claims it's more effective due to interaction with the glucagon receptor. Only available as research chem till prob 2027 but people are already researching.
glucagon receptor agonists increase energy expenditure

A new weight loss injection called retatrutide has shown remarkable results in helping users shed weight quickly.
However, recent research suggests that the drug, which is developed by the makers of Mounjaro, may come with concerning side effects, including bone fractures and kidney issues.
Early trials of retatrutide revealed that users could lose up to a quarter of their body weight in under a year, making it nearly twice as effective as Ozempic.
Unlike other weight loss jabs, this drug not only reduces appetite but also speeds up metabolism, intensifying fat loss.
Yet, some participants in clinical trials reported losing too much weight too rapidly. One individual dropped 22% of their body weight in just nine months and felt compelled to skip doses to slow down the effects.
Another lost nearly a third of their body weight in eight months and developed kidney stones, a potentially dangerous condition. -

@herenow high carb low fat can make all these drugs irrelevant . i think these drugs do well in sales because people dont want to adjust the food types they eat. they still want deep fried chicken and pufa oil-infused snack foods. the everything in moderation psyop
lets say that person who lost 22% bw was 350lb. they lost 77lb in nine months. thats an average of 8.55lb a month. they probably lost like 20lb first month , 13lb second month , 8 third month, and then 6lb a month after. maybe the study says exactly. thats realistically possible on a high carb low fat diet.
anyone know why they got kidney stones ? apparently it is uric acid

That's fair. I'm not advocating anything. The glucagon mechanism caught my eye. I thought some people here might be curious.
Here's a sobering statistic: Roughly 90 percent of people who lose a lot of weight eventually regain just about all of it.
Food addiction is especially challenging because people can't abstain.

@herenow i think they shrek their metabolisms
they also probably dont stop eating sneed oils

Those could be factors but people who have spent their lives overweight always seem to struggle.
