      “Many people feel positive emotions in their organ nerve centers, for example the heart plexus and the solar plexus. The good feelings go with good functions. When the nerves cringe because of the presence of authoritarians, the nerve supply to the organs is impaired. Thinking of the offensive person is enough to do it. Food, activity, and feelings about your surroundings go together, and it’s important to listen to your viscera, to really participate in constructive living.” – Ray Peat

      The cringing of nerves blocking blood flow resulting in a stress reaction is obvious to me in the presence of some people (or a certain personality). Complete avoidance of these people is not possible and exposure therapy hasn’t worked so far. Has anyone been able to overcome this and if yes, how did you do it?

        @zaaku what works for me is remembering that being made to feel bad by them is suboptimal

        people say not to think you're "better" than others and that's true I think because it leads to ugliness, but I like to think of better behaviours than others

        also in state of high energy their suboptimal attitude/behaviors are a game to play with

        them having a negative effect on you is a sign that your energy state is suboptimal ime

          @sunsunsun Thank you.

          While I still have a lot of headroom for improvements that I can make in my metabolism, I was proactively wondering if there is something else I could directly do to influence this visceral response in me. I'm hoping more relaxation and better glycogen stores would make a big difference, alongside the right mentality.

          Interestingly, just their presence in the same room, without any conversation or eye contact, is enough to make my nerves cringe and bring on a stress reaction, even if I'm engrossed in my own work. Came across the idea of morphic resonance and stress resonance and found it interesting.

            @zaaku it only happens to me when I am not feeling optimal due to low vibration thoughts and/or not being well fed and rested. I notice it more likely in the morning before breakfast and/or suboptimal rest

            what you're describing happened to me to the extent I wouldn't even want to be on the same floor as them, contrasted to when I am feeling good and I am relaxed around them even when they're behaving annoyingly. secondly, you feeling bad around them feeds them feeling bad and more likely to continue. the truth it isnt even really about them it's about the person who is feeling uncomfortable as a result of the other person's presence.

            the best thing to do is use the opportunity when you feel bad around them to recognize it as contrast. for further information on this subject of effectively turning what felt bad before into something that feels good via contrast search Brian wither's videos on YouTube

            and lastly morphic field isnt concrete you vill feel bad but more like how some people feel bad around emf and some people dont even notice it and thrive nonetheless
