Which grassfed milk is the best?
-
I know Kalona is in a plastic bottle, but it's much creamier than the Maple Hill Creamery milk. Also, would heating up the milk to make a milk gelatin be bad for the milk?

breast is best

@Peaterphile I literally just buy the cheapest whole milk from Costco, along with the cheapest orange juice and eggs. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it

I buy low fat a2 so I can do 2 litres a day, any less and I would buy full fat. A2 is apparently nicer to your insides, not that I have issues but why not.
And I’m from NZ so everything is local and grass fed

I like how Peat thought about this which is whatever tastes the best to you is the best for you, and everyone will be different. Thankfully in my experience the best quality milk I find tastes the best, but not always, when I was traveling I found one fancy milk didn't taste nearly as good as regular grocery store milk with no additives. So I what I do is simply buy every milk available to me and try them all.

@Petetopia lucky

Whichever is not homogenized I think that is a signal for quality production

@Evolutionarily Totally agree. Milk that tastes the most watery gives me watery diarrhea. I like to picture myself as drinking creamy breastmilk when pounding GOMAD.

Watch out for skim, https://patents.google.com/patent/US5480661A/en

@Peaterphile I really like Strauss whole milk with cream top. It’s non-homogenized and tastes delicious. Not sure how available it is outside California though. I know many prefer low fat or skim but I’m in my mid-30s and drink 2 quarts Strauss whole milk and have not gained any weight so the calories are not a problem for me. Milk fat feels really good to me. Also they make a chocolate milk that’s the best store bought choccy money can buy.
