Tryptophan and serotonin as precursors

Tryptophan -> DMT
Serotonin -> N-acetylserotonin
N-acetylserotonin -> melatonin
Melatonin -> pinoline (maybe)Pinoline, DMT, N-acetylserotonin and melatonin seem like they could be beneficial. I don't know much about these at the moment, so I can't write about them in detail. I just wanted to get this idea out here as it might be worth looking into.
If these offer significant benefit, then it follows that tryptophan restriction, or using something like BCAA + tyrosine/phenylalanine, might not be optimal long-term. They could still be used short-term to steer metabolism into a healthier direction.
This might be a matter of turning lead into gold.
