      Must see or hear. I highly recommend it. Joe Rogan often gets guests that speak on health with warped ideas that are not consistent with bioenergetics. But this time, he has Chris Masterjohn. Chris, just like Joe Mercola and many other health Influencers, has come around towards Ray's initially fringe ideas about PUFAs/seed oils vis a vis saturated fats.

      While Chris tends to go over my head when he talks, here we see the benefit of having Joe make Chris explain things like he explains to a typical layperson.

      I actually enjoyed this interview. Off hand, I remember only a few salient details. One is that Chris explains why he prefers a food first strategy of providing our body with nutrients over a pharma first approach. I'm happy to hear this as this aligns with Peat's preference, though in interviews Ray sometimes comes across as tending to talk about the use of hormones, and many members of bioenergetics forum would take as a sign to use hormones first over nutrition. He explains more in detail in the interview why the food first approach is better.

      He has an interesting take also on how olive oil became popular. I'm not 100% I follow him on this, as olive oil is like the mead acid in our body.

      Chris is earnest in his research. He started with not having all the answers, but that didn't stop him from offering his services as a coach, just as all coaches and even doctors do. This learn and earn approach is very much the norm anyway, if you really think about. But relative to the average person, having an earnest coach who knows more is still better than going it alone when our own health is concerned.
