the cope is unreal. man looked older than his age with the hair loss and lack of teeth. he sounded like his body was disintegrating (apparently it was)
that last cope is especially scrumptious, it's the same cope you use to explain Georgi's obesity, balding, bloating and aging

@brad isn’t Cohn a version of Cohen? That’s what most people must have assumed.

“Cohen (one of the Kohanim; a member of the priestly caste) = Kohen, Kohn, Cohn, Kuhn (also a non-Jewish German surname), Kahn, Kohan, Koch, Cook, Kagan, Kogan, Cogen, Kahan, Cahan, Cowen, Cowan, Cullen, Kahane, Cahane, Kaban, Kaganovich, Kaun, Caine”

While I think it's largely subjective to determine how old he looks (my mom was shocked at how young he looked after listening to his interviews lol), it's worth noting that his tooth decay came from one point in time much younger, when he was living on flax seed for protein, and multiple teeth began falling out at once. He didn't have worn down tooth nubs indicating some long term dental decline as you see with actual cases of tooth decay.
Other than the obviously missing teeth, his teeth didn't look bad in this interview.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqhlIOt5sUwIf you can offer any other evidence that he was losing teeth up until the point of death, I'm all ears.

"I usually think about something for a long time before I get around to integrating it into my life, sometimes because old habits have to be changed, but usually because our social organization is set up to do things in conventional ways...
"Although I pointed out a long time ago the antithyroid effects of excessive cysteine and tryptophan from eating only the muscle meats, and have been recommending gelatinous broth at bedtime to stop nocturnal stress, it took me many years to begin to experiment with large amounts of gelatin in my diet."
https://raypeat.com/articles/articles/gelatin.shtmlIn an email exchange, someone asked him the single most important nutritional effort for longevity (cal/phos ratio; thyroid; inflammatory protein ratio; some nutrient; etc), and he said balancing the inflammatory proteins with anti-inflammatory proteins, aka gelatin.

@brad could you share the reason why you chose not to reply?

@Logan it shouldn’t matter if he’s a Jew. If someone asked me that question I wouldn’t respect it with an answer.

It shouldn’t matter if he is a Jew, it should matter if the admin is shamelessly lying to the whole community.
I didn’t ask him whether he is a Jew, I asked him a question of linguistics. Read carefully.
Don’t confuse me with teenage right-wing trolls that this forum is infested with.
Since it shouldn’t matter if he is a Jew, by the same reasoning, a direct question about his ethnoreligious origin can and should be easily answered. It’s a simple question, requiring a simple answer. A question that I did not ask.
He can defend himself, don’t try to do it for him. Don’t make assumptions on his or my behalf.

ONE HUMAN RACE OKAY?!?!?

@Logan meh, the question only gets asked for one reason, and we’re not having an Abrahamic religions discussion — nevertheless, disagreeing with me on intent is fine with me — If you say you don’t mean it that way I accept your answer.
However, tell me what to do and expect an unpredictable if not opposite outcome.
Brian is a beautiful heckin valid hero of the highest honorary Aryan persuasion and it doesn’t matter if he’s Italian because he’s MY Italian so you come after Brian you can best expect momma bear to come outta me watch your serotonin toxicity is all I’m sayin cuz I’m an alpha watchdog dopaminergic sunshine warrior. -
@haidut_retard No.

¡Ciao! It's-a me, Giacomo Pepperoni. I'm Italy's Foreign Minister of Cultural Affairs. I wanted to hop on this thread to confirm that Brad Cohn really is Italian. I checked our genealogy records and I was able to trace his ancestry back 1000 years to a small village outside Caserta. I also wanted to say, as a cultural emissary of Italy, that he's a true friend of the Italian people. I've known Brad Cohn for many years (he actually married my third cousin) and he's very proud of his Italian heritage.
As for whether he's Jewish, that's not my place to say. Some people think that Jews and Italians are actually the same ethnicity -- and not just because we're both a clannish, hyperbolic people with a flair for the dramatic who love our mothers. In fact, we share quite a bit of genetic similarity.
Jews have also inhabited Italy for nearly two thousand years, since the Roman times. The similarities continue culturally: have you ever looked into how many Jewish writers were on the Sopranos?
Anyway, I'm not much of a fan of Ray Peat (He says pasta is no good? Shame on him!), so this will probably be my only post here. ¡Hasta la pasta!

Giacomo! Wow, crazy to see you here! How's Marcela?
I'm not particularly thrilled Giacomo had to come around and clarify this for everyone, since it's not clear to me why it's expected that everyone else on the forum can operate pseudonymously without issue or suspicion while my cultural/ethnic background gets meticulously interrogated. In any case, I have nothing else to add on this topic.

@brad thanks for the clarification but lemme tell you I DON'T TRUST IT ONE BIT
