Help interpreting blood work
-
I recently had to attend a medical for work which included a blood test. Unfortunately the blood test only checked total cholesterol and HDL, and not things like LDL and triglycerides.
I was wondering if any useful information could be interpreted from these two metrics. My total cholesterol seems closer to the upper end of the reference range, but my HDL is a lot lower than "ideal".
Results:
Total cholesterol (TC): 4.98 mmol/L
HDL: 0.69 mmol/L
TC/HDl: 7.3 -
