Beef gelatin relaxation

So I started dry scooping half a teaspoon after each meal yesterday, and everything seemed to go well.
Today at work I dryscooped roughly a tablespoon, and about 1.5 hours later I was literally nodding off at my desk.
I don't feel tired/wired, just literally could barely keep my eyes open, and if I closed them almost immediately snored myself awake.
Unfortunately I cannot get away with dozing at work, but I would be interested to know I am interpreting consequences correctly.
