      Collagen has a special building block: 4-hydroxyproline.

      Proline is a common amino acid building block which gets incorporated into collagen and then modified before the final structure can form.

      Vitamin C is needed to facilitate this modification: conversion of proline to 4-hydroxyproline.¹

      4-hydroxyproline consumption (preferably thru gelatin) can enhance collagen synthesis, alongside muscle growth and performance.²
