Wilhelm Reich, Vril, Esoteric Peatlerism
-
@jens I would love to see those case studies, where can I find more information about the vegetotherapy? I like the idea of breaking the "dams" that impede energy flow, sounds like there is much overlap between TCM, Peat, and Reich.
-
Interestingly enough, one of the primary noticeable effects of Reich's orgone accumulator boxes was that it would heat up the user's body quite dramatically, but never in a way that was uncomfortable. Very reminiscent of Peat's thoughts on metabolism.
Someone on here should make one and test it on themselves. -
@Dakota I read about it a lot in his book "The function of the orgasm" I think out of all of his books that one is likely the one that covers the most bases. I also think that his book "character analysis" talks about it quite a bit. I think both can be found for free on archive.org. Also I don't think it is difficult to find physical copies of the books, from what I've read so far it can be very dense at times.
-
@ATP yeah lots of crazy experiments done with them. I plan on making one as soon as I can source absurd amounts of steel wool.
-
Made the first orgone accumulator device last night. This is a report on my initial findings.
3 layers of cotton batting alternating with layers of steel wool, thin muslin cloth to emplace these pads and make it comfortable for skin applications. made in two pieces and fashioned in the shape of a cylinder, big enough to wear comfortably over the head and it goes down to just above the nose. Made just in time to use it for sleeping.
I will include any night time supplements I regularly take in the report.
650 mg aspirin
200 mg thiamine
one teaspoon baking soda
one small drop of progesterone orallyI take this stack most nights before sleep. I always unplug everything in my room, shut off all electronics and remove them from my room. However I do not always remember to shut off the WIFI which is in the opposite corner of the house, but i did shut it off last night. Otherwise my sleep routine remained exactly the same but with the introduction of the orgone helmet.
To provide context, the whole winter i have had severe insomnia, usually not able to fall asleep before 5:00 AM. will lie in bed with racing thoughts for many hours before I am able to sleep, this has been the case every night for the last 4 months or so. I usually wake up with little to no energy all throughout the day, and then the mind begins racing again in the evening hours, a severely disrupted circadian rhythm.
Last night, while wearing the orgone cap I was able to fall asleep after 30 minutes or so. Things I noticed while wearing the cap
-Warm, tingly sensation, similar to the feeling i get when taking the right dose of thyroid or tocovit.
-Reduced tinnitus
-heart rate increase 5bpm from 83 to 88 bpm
-Calmed my thoughtsAt some point during the night I woke up and took the helmet off, I fell quickly back to sleep. Interestingly I had a dream in which I could speak perfectly fluent french, in spite of only taking a single french class 10 years ago, it wasn't gibberish in my mind but perfectly sound and grammatically correct french, even upon waking I was still thinking partially in french and had a grasp of the vocabulary and could understand it some. All of the dreams I had that night were incredibly vivid. Also interestingly, I woke up with the orgone helmet back on my head, in spite of the fact that I consciously remember removing it during the night. I must have either subconsciously put it back on while I slept, or some other force once again crowned me with the helmet.
Also, for the first time in a very long time i woke up full of energy, and was able to get much done in the morning hours, which is something that I never have been good at.
Here are some things to consider:
The benefits I saw could've been a placebo, or it could be from a general increase in brain temperature from the insulation. However, the last few months i have been wearing a beanie while sleeping and have not noticed any positive effects, I always wake up without the beanie on. The helmet is much thicker, cozier, and more comfortable. It could just be the fact that it is keeping my head even warmer.
I will continue to conduct more experiments with this device. If any of you have anything you'd like me to try or experiment i would be happy to do so. While I am not using my orgone helmet in person I think I will store my NDT and idealabs supplements in it. People commonly use these devices for their fruits/seeds and such.

@brad I think I found the quote you were referring to from day one on the back of a tiger "In that same period, I visited some of my Reichian friends in San Francisco. One of them worked at the Exploratorium and they took me there just after hours to show me what was what with the Exploratorium. And at one of the displays, it was a cloud chamber. She turned it on and was going to show how you could visualize the cosmic rays in the clouds. And as it clouded up, that aroused my interest. So I moved up close to the cabinet and the cloud disappeared in a cylinder shaped like my body. As I backed away, the cloud filled in the space and it was like there was a field destroying the condensation in that area. But as soon as I took thyroid, I've never had any of those excessive field effects." -Ray peat

@jens That's it! Wow, really glad it was a real quote and I wasn't misremembering.

@brad Interesting relationship here with the artificial cloud and reichs cloudbuster. Orgone, or neutrino seems to be intimately involved in the cloud process. While peat was hyperthyroid he displaced and dissolved the cloud in the exact shape of his organism. I think hypothyroid individuals do the opposite and accumulate this cloud essence. When someone "has a cloud over their head" they literally have something about them that accumulates and concentrates a negatively charged neutrino, or have created some sort of vacuous void of which the cloud fills.

@jens Wow, I just saw your account of your homemade orgone accumulator. Thank you for sharing your incredibly fascinating experiment. Could you share a bit about your environment: rural or urban? I know in the orgone accumulator handbook it talks about the importance of having a somewhat sheltered (from high voltage and radiation) environment. That’s why I’ve always been hesitant to try one out.
As for the cloud buster, in Matteo Tavera’s “Sacred Mission,” he articulates how rain is “condensed” by points of electrical grounding growing out from the earth, like trees. That’s why deserts don’t have rain very often, but if someone restores vegetation it increases the amount of rain. I suspect that the cloudbuster works by jumpstarting this process. I can share more information on this if there’s interest.

@brad Low density suburb. 10 or 15 minute drive or so away from any urban or more densely populated area. Not close to any nuclear or power plants, big sources of bad orgone contamination. Nearest cell tower is probably 3 or so miles away, but I do not have a clear field of vision to it from my house. Very much so on the electrical grid however. I do not live in close enough proximity to my neighbors to be able to connect to their WIFI. Decently high altitude 4500+ which does affect orgone concentration.
This guys work is interesting, he goes around donating cloudbusters and orgone devices around the desert in order to "restore" them. He theorizes that desert environments are entirely unnatural and brought about through bad orgone, chemtrails, EMF, etc..Deserts are almost like a patch of calcification and fibrosis, they can be restored to lush lands by restoring energetic order.

@jens This is incredible! Thanks for sharing. When you have time please give a more detailed breakdown on how one can make one themself. It would be awesome if a bunch of us made them and could report back their findings.
-
@jens your experiment and the outcome sounds fascinating. Can you share some pics to get s better sense of what it looks like?

@metabolicmilk On my original post I left a link to a handbook that describes the whole theories behind it, and step by step instructions on how to make them. It is called "the orgone accumulator handbook." There are also many available youtube videos that show the process. You can google "how to make an orgone blanket" and you should be able to find plenty of videos

The breathing exercises in this book have helped me a lot. My understanding is that a lot of the "chemical" problems peaters target through food and supplements (such as high cortisol, high serotonin, low thyroid, etc.) are often driven by chronic sympathetic shift in the nervous system due to what Reich called muscular armor. Basically, if your muscles become tense due to poor movement and suppressed impulses (practically a guarantee in our society), your body will come to the conclusion that you are in danger and will continuously trigger the stress cascade.
