Perforated ear drum...

Can anything be done to repair this other than surgery? It happened 3 years ago and has not repaired naturally. Thanks

@16charactersitis I knew I done something years ago diving but just recently bought an otoscope. You can see the 3 small holes and I put it into chatgpt and it said perforated.

@BeamsOfEnergy Kinda weird that it hasn't just healed tbh. I was told I had one was a child (after I shoved something too far in my ear LOL) and it seems to have just completely healed by itself.
Maybe it healed easily because I was younger when it happened.

@BeamsOfEnergy Had perforated ear drum in my late 30s following an ear infection that led to intense and uncomfortable pressure until the ear drum ripped and fluid came out. Ear/nose/throat doc confirmed it was perforated. My hearing quickly returned to normal after the perforation and has been fine ever since.
I assume the perforation re-sealed itself. Or I should say, I never returned to a specialist to have it examined in the 15 years since. I guess I don't know for sure if the perforation healed or if my hearing is somehow functional (no left/right asymmetry) despite a permanent perforation.
Does anyone know: could a perforation not re-seal yet give no symptoms?
What are your symptoms? What caused perforation? Did hearing change before/after? Best wishes with bioenergetic self-repair. I'd like to think it's possible without surgery.

@T-3 only symptoms is its hard to equalise my left ear now otherwise I don't think I have any real symptoms. I think it would be difficult to dive now though. I have heard they are meant to reseal but in my case it hasn't.
