Having issues talking clearly and understanding speech was always a thing for me. I didn't know what was happening, knowing that I was able to understand them through writing. I can't say I was severely impaired, but in a group of people, I could miss key points of mini-expressions of peoples faces. Sometimes I had to either focus on face gestures or their speech especially if I was in a suboptimal state.

After plenty of experimentation, what really increased my speech understanding, expression and word recall was acetylcholine.
The most sustainable way was by eating a potato meal a day and avoiding rice.
Solanine as you know leads to an accumulation of acetylcholine by blocking the enzyme that degradates it.
But why not rice? My theory is that since rice is known as a constipating agent by absorbing all water in the gut, this forces the secretion of extra serotonin that helps push the bowel further. This will lead to an increased serotonin level that will get into the brain, resulting in numb emotions and a lower energy production to sensitive areas or not so optimal areas of the brain that are prone to energy depletion through stress.
Everytime I eat rice, my word recall is worsened and desire to express myself decreases.

Going back topotatoes, the mechanism of action restores verbal fluency till the point of becoming a salesman, especially combined with eggs, but it doesn't cure anything. It will disrupt your sleep and may cause respiratory failure and depression in huge doses because acetylcholine is excitatory in the brain and needs the enzyme to be degraded and finally relax. The same applies with glutamate-GABA. It needs a healthy ratio of production-degradation.
That's why you may eat potatoes and eggs only when you go out with friends.

Dr. Peat said that he gave vitamin B1 to his students, and they performed extraordinarily well on the exams. B1 increases acetylcholine like crazy. I'm pretty sure it's not the glucose oxidation here. In my experience it was the same, I had plenty of mental and social energy, but it was as lampofred said, "fake energy". After a while this led to decreased deepness of sleep and duration, and made my mind extremely logical till the point of having difficulties getting jokes, I was taking everything literalmente.

People with low acetylcholine that are not depressed are a on step behind. Acetylcholine increases almost all dopamine receptors, and lowers D2 which is linked to motivation, drive, freedom and confidence. Increasing ACh to improve verbal cognition will lead to decreased social status. So you will have to pay the price of confidence for fluency.
In my experience, taking Selegiline and not eating potatoes, during a conversation it comes to mind jokes that some will find provocative. For example, I asked a cigarette to a colleague that I rarely talk to, and when he approved, I said with a serious arrogant face "how many should I take, 4 or 5?" and he laughed.
Those kind of social interactions don't come to mind during acetylcholine overload with potatoes or B1. Usually is more driven by logical and safe thinking. Your desire to make jokes will rarely be "almost too much", which kills drama and you may sound more like an NPC in a face of a fearless guy.

The key is to increase acetylcholine production and acetylcholinesterase. Cyproheptadine won't work because blocks directly acetylcholine and this misses the point.
Ok, eggs for more acetylcholine, but how you degrade it? Maybe just living in a perfect environment will help, but I don't see a cure.
