    1. Hair got darker/thicker and smoother.
    2. Losing fat/swelling from my face specially under eyes and cheeks.
    3. Inflammatory acne is disappearing fast, also olds wounds and surgeries that'd spontaneously hurt and swell up have healed.
    4. Sleep is getting deeper, rarely wake up at night.
    5. Colours seem vibrant and I'm starting to remember old memories, what?
    6. Peeing used to hurt, like the piss getting blocked or something and it'd be painful, now it flows with not even slight comfort.
    7. Improved mood, deep laughs etc.

@bolditinerary 8. At some point I developed constant paranoia like feeling of thinking someone is always watching me, in public spaces, it would be uncomfortable, I now feel no such thing and I'm able to live in the moment.

@bolditinerary Thank you for sharing! What caused you to look into thyroid in the first place and how have you been dosing?

@brad I read Demystifying Thyroid Supplementation by Danny and I ticked the box for some of the symptoms, as for dosage I'm taking 1/4 cynomel so 6.25 mcg.

If you have hypothyroidism or considering T3: I cannot stress this enough, read the books below

                1. The Thyroid Patient's Manual: From Hypothyroidism to Good Health

                2. Recovering with T3: My journey from hypothyroidism to good health using the T3 thyroid hormone

                by Paul Robinson

This two books are a game changer if you have hypothyroidism or begun to take T3. It covers everything you need to know about T3, even roadblocks that you'll probably face during the treatment.
You can check for yourself the reviews about the books on Amazon and see how it is helping people with hypo.

That's fantastic! Thyroid T3/T4 made me happier. Just a general well being. My hair is the thickest it's ever been. And it was rainy yesterday. Usually that would mean frizzy hair-nope. It behaved itself. I laugh more.

And although my temps aren't quite to normal, I can tell I'm headed in the right direction. I had tried thyroid before but I don't think I went high enough or I wasn't eating enough carbs. This time feels different.

T3/T4 3 doses a day-worked up to this.1/2 grain NDT each sot !.5 total each day. Planning on staying here and seeing what elese imporoves.

@Jenna That's awesome, it's always good to see people improving with the right approach. Some people have better results with NDT like yourself and others with T3 only that's why find the right dosage can be tricky aswell.

Before you begun the treatment did you had any conversion issue (T4 > T3)?

for how long does one supplement T3/T4? what happens when you stop supplementing it? do you have to supplement it forever?

@rt It's my understanding from Studying Ray's talks-progesterone and thyroid can reboot the thyroid production. Probably dependent on how bad things are with your thyroid

@Jenna I'm glad to hear that. My hair was fizzy, unmanageable and shedding. There were also some patches where the hair was thinner perhaps from shedding, I'm not sure if they're growing back now but I can tell it's darker now. It was one of the clear symptoms that actually got me considering thyroid supplementation.

T3 was a game changer for me.
I got similar results from a similar amount.

What I also noticed it that the amount of calories I can consume increased by about 30%, which is nice, because before taking T3 I really had to watch out for what to eat.

Almost everything got at least a little better. Liver function is a big one, less gut /endotoxin symptoms, too.
I feel more energetic, stress tolerant and positive.

A little T3 can go a long way. Thats why Ray was often saying: "the right dosage of thyroid can do xyz..." I really feel like this is key, because when I take too much I get depressed and bloated. For some reason I cant really increase my dose, but I am very happy with what I got so far.

The most prominent and fastest symptom of hypothyroidism to show up is water retention.
I get that when messing up the dosage or forgetting something to take it.

I have to watch out to take in enough b vitamins when taking T3.

                                    Dare to think.

@Mauritio what do you notice if not enough B vitamins? What Bs do you take, or do you rely on food for them?

Mostly skin issues. Biotin, B6 and B2 are the most important. I used to supplement for a while, actually in quite high doses, but I always got the dosage wrong and ended up getting a deficiency in another b vitamin or other side effects. So I dropped all the b's except for B6.

I have run numerous self-experiments with pharmaceutical dosing of isolated b-vitamins with some useful results (B1, B3 niacinamide), B2 to learn more about my own methylation status and histamine levels, and B6 for dopamine and blood-sugar regulation (type-1 diabetic here) -- and biotin more recently. Although some of the results were desirable and I wouldn't rule out doing isolated b-vits again, I wound up dropping most b-vit supplementation and, I think, feeling healthier and more stable as a result. I wouldn't discourage experimenting with daily gram doses of B1 or B3 (maybe for a week or so), but my own experience with this affirms what Mauritio said above. Thus, over the last two years, I think I’ve finally been persuaded that Ray’s minimalist approaching to b-vit supplementation (defaulting to zero in most cases and using very modest/conservative b-vitamin dosing, e.g. 5mg B6 or 50mg B1 or 10-15mg of B2 for very specific goals/needs) works best for me.
