      @Luke Does it delete moles?

      I think there was some talk about it on the old forum.

      I've never been a big party attender, but I never went to a party where I didn't probably offend most of the people there by talking about what I was interested in. (Ray Peat)

        @Peater0921 i see. Thanks for explaining. my understanding of peat was that the shrinking lead to complete eradication. Yet i have no personal experience, fortunately. never had anything problematic, only flat tiny ones when I tried quasi veganism (complete w pufa) years ago.
        I get people’s enthusiasm about iodine if it produces results, yet i would still be cautious given ray’s precautions about iodide/iodine and his hesitancy to apply anything directly on a mol or angioma.

          I've just started using a skin tag remover kit that puts a small rubber band around the skin tag/wart/mole. So far, it seems to be shrinking the growths and they are getting harder. It takes about a week or so for the thing to completely fall off. You get the micro rubber bands, a thin long funnel like tool to help you put the band around the growth, and some alcohol wipes. These kits go for for around $8.

              @PranaDeva Is it those that work by cutting off bloodflow until it falls off? That might actually be a better idea than cauterizing it with iodine or other stuff. But it only works with raised moles...

                @Peater0921 That is exactly how this product works.

                  @PranaDeva It is not dangerous? I have a raised mole and I might try...

                    @heyman I'm only 4 days into it, using it a wart, raised mole, and some skin tags. It seems to be working, and there is just minor discomfort when the skin growth is touched. I think it is safe, but only time will tell.

                      @heyman It's probably the single safest approach after just cutting it off clean, which is very difficult to do if not trained, especially on one's self.

                        Idk if my anecdote is for moles or not, but I had grown a mole-like growth on both my knee caps. They looked skin coloured and the size of a popcorn kernel, and had them for about 1.5yrs. I began supplementing 10mg of Zinc Gluconate a few months ago, and within 1-2 months they had disappeared. So it's possible that, if you have a new skin growth/mole, you are just zinc deficient. hope this helps anyone that sees this in the future.

                          I've successfully removed moles with apple cider vinegar (probably any mild acid would work). Gently lance the mole with a needle, put ACV on a small cotton ball, put the wet cotton on top of the mole, cover it with a bandaid, and leave on overnight. Repeat. Takes a few weeks but the acid eats the mole.

                          Just did it again for the first time in probably 10+ years. Had a mole on my elbow that suddenly developed about two years ago, it was gone in a matter of weeks.
