Out of respect for Ray's family, we have removed his 4 books and 88 newsletters from the site, preserving his newsletters that were published for free in different papers. I was thinking maybe the reason there aren't lots of witnesses is that today DR is mostly anonymous but over 4 years ago he was unknown. People would notice today. You could see it was complete amateur hour back then.
You would think he took all the evidence down by now. If people start asking about it then he could still pull it or edit out the bad part. I would guess at least 1000 people saw but that's a small number and this is a small net. But if he was goofy enough to put it online then maybe he just left it up.
If anyone here knows hardcore fans that would watch everything out there then you can ask them about it. Are there hardcore DR fans? He still has a very small following.

If the interests of the expired science writer and his family line up with DR's then he will act in their interest completely. If his interests counter the interest of RP's family then he would most likely betray them. This is how things usually work and people can find the right path by following the money most of the time.
The choice he made (which I watched with my own eyes) is counter to his persona and I understand that but his persona is a creation to generate income. At that time he felt it was in his interest to keep the money and announce it and so he did. It was a bizarre choice but it hasn't harmed him yet.
Pocketing fundraiser money he collected over a period of months for his hero is 7/10 disgusting? I mean he didn't beat Ray Peat do death with his bare hands which be 10/10. How bad what he did was is a matter of opinion.
