Progesterone and chronic Brachial Plexus Neuralgia
-
Hello all, this is my first post so I decided to share something that helped me tremendously. I’m not sure the exact mechanism why, but after researching for myself, I decided to try progesterone specifically to target my chronic pain. I’m a male and 25 years old.
My background is that I was sustained a Erbs-palsy complication at birth, but not as bad as most cases are. I was even able to correct and regain about 80-90% of the function of my left arm ( range of motion/flexibility, strength) .
What did not improve was a chronic issue of pain in the area of injury (upper trunk C5/C6 of the brachial plexus.) and feelings of pain passing through my meridian nerve .
The pain can be severe on days of high stress and it can be best described as debilitating.I’ve experimented tons, from as early as age 13, on solving my issue and multiple things help but recently I’ve been super impressed with how instant and effective Progesterone is on addressing this pain.
The lotion I use has B5 and Vitamin E, and I’ll usually mix 3-5 drops of progesterone ( about 7- 15mg) into it and massage it on the area, and along the nerve and massage the area/floss the nerve as well. Within minutes, the pain is minimized noticeably, going from about 6-7/10 to 2/10 or even completely away.
I’ve been using it selectively on days where the pain is an issue which affects my work and relationships . It’s been about 5 months of use, and so for I have liked the results, especially with how long lasting the effects are. Thx!
