Any experience? I just got high histamine symptoms but that may be from the cobalamin. It may be true that while folate donates methyl groups it may actually may be a net methyl reducer . I need to take pure Methylfolate to see if that is true. Rn im trying to nuke my homocysteine

@albion p5p helps , found it similar to theanine

methylfolate is a hit and miss, sometimes I feel more alert and other times i feel a bit uncomfortable. Travis had a post on the old RPF where milk drinkers usually had much lower methylfolate in CNS where he claimed it was advisable to take the reduced folate form through supplements if you drink cows milk. I only tried it for a week or two so I cant tell w certainty, although the slightly increased focus was noticeable.

@thyroidchor27 Not sure if you're still interested but I'd definitely try it out for longer than a week, the folates and cobalamins tend to have very long durations of action, with some studies showing improvements in CNS and even brain physiology at 9-months or longer.

@albion I just got back on it and the b12 and folate have a noticeable mood and energy lifting effect. Somewhat anti peat but im going to go on a short term isolated dha supplementation period since dha seems to be very important for phospholipids such as phosphatidylserine and pscholine.
