Bought 11-OXO inspired by @jamezb46 's post on Patrick Arnold's Prohormones.

It's my first time with an account on this platform but for some context I'm young and pretty healthy, just wanted to experiment with something Faustian that would improve hormones and aesthetics.

After about 4.5 weeks of taking ~15mgs 2x/week with a fatty meal here are my reported effects:

      • Physical aesthetics
Hollow cheeks, improved vascularity, more defined muscle bellies, all while being around the same weight. It also appears that my face is a bit more "masculinized" - I don't have any before/after photos, but my facial features just seem less juvenile
      • Facial hair growth
Facial hair growth seems to ramp for 24-48 hours
      • Improved sleep + energy
        Nothing insane, but certainly noticeable
      • Improved mood
I am a bit competitive and emotional at times; I notice an acute optimistic outlook on life in general after taking 11-OXO. It's also similarly masculinizing like androsterone in my experience, though at this dose, less-so.

Probably some other stuff that I can't recall off the top of my head, I suppose there are no improvements to memory when taking 11-OXO, but overall, nothing negative and worth the price at this dose for what it does and what I prioritize.

As a sidenote, I also take this with 600mg-1200mg of NAC. It's my half-assed way of protecting the liver, though I've never seen any valid liver concerns for 11-OXO.

@hawk1 thanks for the personal data points, I just have these burning questions:

        • how old are you actually? I'm 22 and it seems like many of my "young" friends don't like the idea of hormones at all even when I tell them how Peaty they are.
        • what's your baseline? Some are coming from the absolute trenches of low T but others can see improvements even from an already "masculine" state
        • have you considered TUDCA instead of NAC for your liver

          @engineer

I am also 22 (and a half). I think there is a social stigma around hormones which cause many to avoid them at their own loss, I CBA to convince my buddies these days beyond what I've already shown them.

Regarding hormones, my main concern is long-term and or intense suppression of endogenous hormone production - it's just not my speed. From what I've read on forums, people have taken 11-OXO in the 1+ gram range with little to no suppression, so I was willing to take that risk, if you could even call it that.

Never tested my T, or any hormone for that matter, but my baseline prior to taking 11-OXO was pretty high. Good libido, energy, mental clarity, recovery, muscle/athleticism etc.

So I'd say the latter applies in this case, RE: " but others can see improvements even from an already "masculine" state"

Ofc I like to enjoy the occasional degen session with my friends whether that's staying up late, eating goyslop, etc. which tanks many health metrics, but I'm more than happy to temporarily trade health for a fun time.

RE: TUDCA - I did consider it, I think NAC was just at the top of my mind when deciding what to purchase. For reasons I forget, I recall really liking what I've read about TUDCA and will likely be my next purchase when I want to take something related to liver health, so long as I remember - but that won't be for a while since there is a lot of NAC in this bottle I got.

@hawk1 I have similar concerns to you regarding suppression. So, despite that, I have also gone the nuclear route with 500mg a week of T isocaproate. Surprisingly, I haven't detected much suppression if any because vitamin E, pregnenolone/DHEA, and progesterone all work to oppose estrogen and prolactin which are the main underlying mechanisms behind endogenous shutdown. This is all because regular T aromatizes, unlike 11KT, which shockingly does NOT! So even if you're not already doing other Peaty things you are already in a low risk position.
