Hello,
My name is Tim, I'm a half a century plus a little in age. I'm new to all things Ray Peat but find it interesting. I am coming from about 12 years of paleo -> Carnivore -> Vegitarian -> Carnivore -> Animal Based -> now looking into Dr. Peat.
I plan on doing a slow transition. There were a few things I was wondering about?
- Where do standard cooking spices stand.. garlic, pepper, cilantro, parsley, chillis, coriander, cummin, etc...... ?
- Being animal based, I tended to use Maple Syrup more than Honey... is Maple Syrup considered bad? I used it to sweeten my coffee.
- I see lots of people on X talking about Aspirin, I have no idea why?
- Can I get a recommended brand powdered gelatin if anyone uses it? I plan to bone broth it, but I need something for when I'm lazy.
- How slow should I take it? Up to a couple days ago I basically lived on 2lbs of ground beef, six eggs, some fruit, and coffee with maple syrup. Is there anything that should be introduced slowly? or I should watch out for? as not to make myself sick or spend to much time on the porcelain throne?
Thanks ahead of time, I look forward to learning here.
Tim.
PS.. anyone I should follow on X? good sources of info? Thanks
