There is no real dogma in the Peat sphere besides limiting PUFA as much as is possible.
Virtually everything else is finding things that work for you while following different pro-metabolic principles.
So if you feel good on spices, go for it, we all have different tolerances and foods that agree with us. For example milk, some people do absolutely fantastically with milk while others cannot tolerate it one bit.
If you’re interested in bioenergetics I suggest you search up Jay Feldman on YouTube, he and Mike Fave have done a podcast together for about 4-5 years, they have well over 100 episodes now, but I recommend going back to the very beginning and watching forward from there. I have been reading Ray Peat and Peat related stuff for years and learned more from those guys in a couple days than I have years scouring these boards.
