I developed visual snow a month ago after around 3 months of adding 1g L-Pyroglutamic Acid, Kestose, and Dioscorea Nipponica. I'm still dealing with it, and it seems to fluctuate in intensity. Sometimes I can read things well enough, other times I struggle. I'm still trying to pin down the cause and confounding factors.
My guess as to what caused mine was the L-Pyroglutamic Acid supplement increasing glutamate too much, the only other thing I can suspect are gut issues from the Kestose or liver issues from Dioscorea Nipponica which contains protodioscin just like Tribulus which is known to be hard on the liver as well. The only other possibility is that this is some sort of COVID after effect, as a family member had a confirmed case just before this occurred, though I never tested positive.
@haidut Any experience or input with these type of symptom, especially in relation to pyroglutamic acid?
We should really dig into this more, since like PFS at one point, there seems to be little information as to what can cause this and what relieves it specifically.
