Hello guys,
I just created this account to ask your opinion about my situation.
I have suspected for a long time that I have an underactive thyroid. My TSH is 1.8, t3 and t4 are in the normal range. However, I have consistently cold hands/feet and my temperature in the morning is 35.9C (96.6F), which Broda Barnes says indicates hypothyroidism. However, I reach 37C (98.6F) in the evening every day and my temperature rises absurdly quickly during the first hour after getting up (from 96.6 to 98F in one hour without eating anything or moving much). That's why I'm guessing that adrenaline and cortisol are involved.
I started taking 1/4 Grain Thyroid NDT a week ago. This has caused my morning temperature to rise to 97F but my evening temperature is now reaching 99.3F. TPulse rate at 75bpm.
My hands and feet are still cold btw.
What do you think of the whole thing? Should I maintain the current dosage and hope that the evening temperature drops and I can continue increasing the dosage until a morning temperature of 98F is reached?
I would be very happy to receive a short answer!
Best regards
Paul
