My first post here, sorry if its not up to code.
About a year ago I suddenly developed a skin/scalp condition seemingly out of nowhere and at the same time. I have got a rash/dry skin that comes and goes, sometimes quite viciously until my skin breaks and starts bleeding. This rash is however specifically on my middle finger, ring finger and top of my right hand as well as my left pinkie. For the whole year it hasn't further spread and is limited to my hands and has stayed this way since it started. The cuticles on the affected fingers have receded completely and the nails have vertical ridges running along them as well as dips and divots. The affected fingers are also slightly more puffy/inflamed than the neighbouring unaffected fingers.
At the same time I seem to have developed dandruff/seborrheic dermatitis with itchiness along the sides and back of my scalp and dandruff being emitted when scratching along with general skin shedding/redness on my scalp and hairline. I read that potential scalp issues could be as a result of yeast overgrowth on the scalp feeding on the sebum produced. These two conditions also coincide with me moving to a new place, at which I've noticed a lot more mould which I have been fighting with specifically in the bathroom. Could this increase in mould be causing my scalp condition? Could water quality (Hardness, pH, Microbes etc) from my shower be causing this? Could these two conditions be related? How should I go about treating them? So far I tried the Bloo product on my scalp for 2 months or so, however it didn't really achieve anything which led me to suspect it maybe be some sort of internal or systemic issue.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
