Help! Painful swollen tendon (Mommy Thumb, tenosynovitis).

My wife has developed a case of tenosynovitis, also known as Mommy Thumb, from picking up and holding our baby day in and day out.

It's basically the swelling of an overused thumb tendon.

At first it was only a discomfort but now it's becoming painful.

That do you guys suggest for this?

Started rubbing Estroban and Progesterone on it this evening paired with some aspirin. She is also wearing a brace. Will report back with results.

Any advice would be helpful.
