Is living next to these things bad for your health?

I found a nice apartment for a good price in my town and intend to move there. I need to move out as soon as possible, apartment hunting is a nightmare, and I finally found a good place.
Maybe I'm just being neurotic, but the apartment is next to these electricity measuring device panels that measure every apartment's energy consumption (it's a relatively large building), like this:
So the bedroom wall will be facing the room where this panel is located, but there's a good distance between the panel and the bedroom, I'd say about three meters.
Well, I don't know exactly how these things work, please forgive my ignorance. Maybe this means there will be a lot of electricty going throgh the adjacent room, which will seep into the bedroom (sleeping next to a wall with an electrical current does disturb my sleep), or maybe it means nothing, it's not like there's an electrical generator there, it's just a convergence point for the measuring devices. Which does mean a lot of electricty will be going through that room, I suppose. But again I'm not an engineer.
Maybe I can just place the bed against the opposite wall and problem solved. Or maybe this thing being next to the apartment means my apartment will be flooded with metabolism-impairing electricity. I wouldn't know.
For what it's worth I'm told the woman who lived there before never had an issue.
I'm just being paranoid and ignorant, probably. I would appreciate any feedback here. Thanks.

You could always cover that wall with tin foil or some other such kinda of faraday fabric. Do you have an EMF meter? You could at least see if it’s something to worry about before considering taking action to mitigate it.

Is not paranoia it is a fact this panel will nuke your apartment with EMF, not only disrupting sleep but increasing the oxidative stress leading to all kind of health issues.
You should definitely consider buying a few of this EMF shielding fabric:

It is cheap and should do the job.

Thanks for the replies. Nuke it with EMF, then? Oh man. It's a lovely apartment in a lovely neighborhood for a very good price. I was already excited for the move. I guess I'll look for another one in the same region.

I mean if it's really that bad I'd rather look for another place instead of trying to mitigate it.

Would any of you move into an apartment like this if it was nice and cheap and in a good neighborhood? Would the EMF really be that bad? Maybe I should get an EMF detector and test it out.

I mean it's bad, probably a lot worse than we currently realize to be honest. It's most likely a detriment to our reproductive health. I don't know if I'm at the point where I'd avoid buying a location just because of EMF. But it sure seems like the evidence is slowly accumulating.
I'm not well versed in the anti-EMF market, but if they sell something like EMF protective sheets for your bed, I'd definitely get some. That way when you lay down at night you'll be under some protective layers. Might look into getting some underwear to protect the family jewels too.

I’d say it’s the same or a bit more intense than the smart meters most of us have on our homes now. Discovered we have one on the wall outside my bedroom. I was horrified. I will be installing an aluminium box around it.
