best way to condition
-
I went off shampoo/conditioner for several months and fixed a lot of my hair issues, but recently I got terrible dry scalp (dandruff?). I just got Bloo and started using it, but noticed that my hair feels pretty dry relative to earlier. I have pretty curly medium length hair, and wondering what you guys use in place of traditional conditioner? Coconut oil was solid but interested in any other options

@jgiz I use an egg yolk for shampoo and ACV (apple cider vinegar) for conditioner. ACV doesn't leave the dry feel and the smell goes away with sunlight. Either way, I would do the 'cover scalp in coconut oil for a few hours' that other users have mentioned here before once in a while to keep the dandruff at bay.

i do the same with egg yolk which is legit for everyone but ACV is moreso part of a list of things to try - personally it makes my hair dry and brittle

@peatyourmeat I see. Have you tried olive oil? Maybe coconut oil mixed with butter?

@peatbug i should, mostly ive been keeping my hair short enough where 2 egg yolks when i feel like it is enough

I'm using bloo twice a week and afterwards I take some coconut oil and condition my hair with it. So far it has worked wonders, argan oil is also good. Just make sure to not use too much so you ruin your scalp with the fat.
