Purely protein and fiber. Has all the B vitamins and amino acids. Available in powder form.
I replace 1/6 of the flour in banana bread with cricket powder.
How do you guys cook bugs

@hercules None for me thanks! I save all the bugs for my chickens who then process them for us, creating delicious "incredible, edible" eggs.

Purely protein and fiber.
With Bioenergetics we are also concerned with what sort of protein and fiber, and a few other things.
Off the top of my head i'm personally curious about the following: what it's amino acid ratio consists of, what sort of fiber, are there fats and also what type and are they oxidized, chitin? processing concerns and more.
Not sure if this has been discussed in the other forum but will check eventually.
I found this puff piece, likely interest funded so grain of salt applies: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6582163/
I have high hopes here but low expectations, so i'll research it first. After all, bugs may be our future
