Milk and Supplements?

Hello Everyone,
I am a first time poster here. I had a question about supplements and drinking milk at the same time. I normally take magnesium glycinate and a Vitamin B supplement with my breakfast which includes a glass of milk. Is this a bad idea? I think that I read somewhere that drinking milk draws out the iron in your body. Does milk also have similar effects on other metals?
I would appreciate any sort of advice
