Favourite idealabs cosmetics?

I did try some idealabs stuff, but although I really like the stories of Georgi and how he explains things. Instead of complete health wonders, most of the time I had no noticeable reaction. This is wat I tried:
-
Tyronene (T3). No reaction. No temperature. Not anything
-
Tyromix (T3/T4) nothing also.
-
Lisuride. High blood pressure, headache. Nothing good, but nothing too bad either. 4/10
-
Progesterone. Very good. Gives a nice relaxed feeling. Gets temperature up. Just feel good in low doses. High doses super sedating which can also be nice. 8/10
-
Kuinone. Nothing.
-
Cortinon (pregnenlone). High expectations, but also nothing.
-
Mitolipin. Nothing much, except laxative effects. 2/10
-
Adamantane. Quite stimulating, bit heavy on the stomach sometimes. Feels like amphetamine if it works, but works unreliable. 5/10
Just a normal ZMA, theanine or cistanche seem to have better and more noticeable effects.
So anyone got better results with idealabs supplements?

@Joop3000 Oxidal. I'm under a super amount of unavoidable life stress and 2 drops of this will take me from just-wanting-to-go-to-bed exhaustion to a calm yet energetic state. I depend on this stuff. I've been wanting to write an advertisement for it.
No noticeable benefits from Energin, Cortinon+, EstroBan, or Magnoil, but I didn't take them for long when I felt no effect.

Are you taking his products externally? With the exception of the hormones (excluding thyroid, take it orally), I recommend taking them ALL orally.
He's covering his ass by labeling the company as cosmetics and ONLY discussing external usage of the products. But for many of them, they need to be taken orally to actually work. There is a few exceptions, like the pregnenolone/DHEA, or progesterone, androsterone, etc.
But for everything else, take it by mouth to get results. My favorite product by Idealabs is either tyromix or pyrucet. Tyromix is the cleanest thyroid product on the market. Pyrucet can be taken topically or orally.
Some of his other good products are cyproheptadine, which again, is probably the cleanest you're going to find on the market. His emodin product is unique, and I've tried it before with interesting results. It made me cold, but this was a few years ago when I was still hypothyroid, so I think the product was actually working like intended (lowering cortisol).

@annis I use my own methylene blue, coffee and aspirin. Is oxidal for some reason better? i guess it is easier already mixed up.
-
@Mulloch94 I have tried cyproheptadin also now that you say it. That one is definitely effective, although I struggle sometimes with the after effects. Makes me semi depressed for 2-4 days. But is also a very effective sleeping aid in emergency situations. High dose will put me to sleep for >10 hours.
Pyrucet sounds interesting. Why do you like this supplement?
-
@Joop3000 I have just been too busy to think of trying it. Thanks for the suggestion!

It's unique and interesting, no other vendor sells this product. It's tailored to specifically fit the needs for people wanting to increase glucose oxidation. The only other substance that comes close to this is Meldonium. But even that works through a different mechanism. One I'm not so sure wouldn't have negative repercussions in the long-run.
Pyrucet's mode of action is by increasing PDH, and thus directly increasing sugar oxidation through the randle effect. It's basically doing the opposite of what ketosis does, and really has no downside at all unless you're eating a low-carb diet while using it. Which, oddly enough, I think I remember some forum member asking Haidut what would happen if they did this, lol.

That's the anti-histamine effect, and why such anti-serotonin agents are severely limited in their scope of utilization. Keeping thyroid and androgens high is a better long-term solution for keeping serotonin low. Gelatin and BCAA's are also helpful.

@Mulloch94 I think I ones looked in to a calcium pyruvate supplement. But the people who wrote reviews where not to enthousiastic about it. This one is bound different ofcourse and the idea sounds promising.
What has been your personal experience with this? Does it reliably work? What does it do if it works?

I had an interesting experience with emodin. I took it for several days and had a terrible flare-up of eczema acne and hemorrhoids, which I assume were all being kept in check by cortisol? I stopped because I'm wondering if my cortisol levels are actually too low in general. But I believe the product is highly effective, just not a good one for me maybe.
Anyway, I regularly use and love a bunch of the other products. I have to be careful with his DHEA products also, because if I take too much I'll get acne.
Regular use of solban over several years has faded hyperpigmentation on my face significantly.

Therapeutic levels of pyruvate aren't achieved until you eat like 20-40 grams. That's A LOT. The ethyl version is effective in dosages less than 1g. Making it a more practical solution.

Mostly good, I feel more energized in a "clean way." By clean I just mean it's a calm peaceful energy, not some caffeine rush jittery effect. It's a type of energy that allows me to better preform mental tasks as much as physical tasks. I think when sustained at a consistent dose for weeks at a time, it improves the liver's ability to store glycogen. Which is when it becomes most noticeably beneficial. If you just sporadically take it inconsistently I don't think you'll be getting the best bang for your buck. Although it could possibly be used in a pinch when you're going to have to study really hard or do anything that requires intense mental focus. As I highlighted on earlier, you should never take it with a low carb diet. That will probably cause a massive cortisol surge due to it dramatically lowering blood sugar.
-
@latte I agree, I think lapodin is likely a powerful cortisol inhibitor, and therefore should be used only by people who are on thyroid or not hypothyroid themselves. While I still think cortisol is best kept within a specific range, I've shifted my views over the years. Mostly from listening to Dr. Platt's work with adrenaline dominance. I think a significant portion of people complaining about cortisol is actually probably complaining about adrenaline, but they mistake cortisol as being the major culprit.

@Mulloch94 +1 on the cypro. I've tried tyronene and tyromix without any effect. Pansterone makes me aggressive. If I rub 2-3 drops of androsterone on my wrists before a night out, I become an attention magnet.

Did you take it topically or orally? I drop it in water or juice to swallow it, works well for my thyroid dosage this way.

This is interesting, I've heard and read so many testimonials on Pansterone and I've seen just about every response I can think of. Some people it makes them feel alpha, others aggressive, some anxious, etc. My only theory is the pregnenolone is having mixed reactions on people. As people don't respond the same way it seems with cortinon (the progesterone/DHEA combo), most of which seem to say it has a relaxing effect. I've never used cortinon but I have dissolved DHEA in Progest-E before, and I also experience some relaxing effects. This leads me to guess the pregnenolone is the odd guy out, and it's causing some sort of adverse effect. Maybe it's converting into cortisol or estrogen. Or maybe it's antagonizing GABA too much when converted into it's sulfated form PS, which certain studies seem to corroborate.

Ahh, I see you've also stumbled onto the androsterone "social effect." It's good stuff, lol. I'm wondering if this is because of Haidut's dosage in the product? If you look at some of those pheromone vendors, a lot of them sell androsterone at like 5 micrograms per bottle. That's insanely small. Haidut's andro is 1mg per DROP! Maybe it's causing an alpha musk overload
-
Aha that is why! Thanks for the explanation. Your experience also seems interesting. Maybe I will give this a try & I'm not on a low carb diet at all, so that shouldn't be a problem.
-
Very interesting that you had zero reaction to Tyromix or Tyronene. That's probably not good, as it's certainly not an issue with the products themselves, rather, with you in some way.
I really like Tyromix. 11-Keto-DHT certainly had some nice effects but they are pretty subtle. I don't take it anymore, as I started developing green stools after taking for a few weeks (have a friend with exact same experience). As far as I'm aware, that's not supposed to be dangerous, but I just can't imagine it's healthy long term. So I dropped the DHT.

@Master I'm afraid so. I have some weird health problems nobody really got an answer to, including and mainly myself. Symptoms seem to match hypothyroidism partly and b12 deficiency. But there is no real reaction to supplementing any of these. I keep searching tho.
