@raypneat bananas are good to reduce face fat and also helps if you’re consuming a lot of water for water retention. my apologies for the blueberries, what is a better alternative?

@nazi spot reducing fat is a myth and only true way to lose fat is consuming under maintenance calories, what u noticed is probably just water weight, If you consume enough water u body needs then it will stop holding onto water. Alternative to blueberries is any fruit without seeds or removing seeds, the seeds overtime even though they are small add up to alot off toxins

@raypneat Spot fat reducing works with photobiomodulation. Conventional methods most likely will not affect regional fat tissue. Also topical absorbable solutions can modify lipid accumulation and oxidation in tissue.

I like to put a cup of frozen blueberries in a pan with a small amount of water, add sugar and reduce to sauce, pour hot over Skyr or greek yoghurt.

                  Good things are immeasurably costly

Would like to see more salty snack recommendations as this is what I want at night (ie coconut oil fried nix tortillas, pork rinds, etc) and if I don’t have a good option I’ll pick a bad one.

@MK have had some of the Parmesan crisps before but a lot still have somewhat nasty ingredients added. Eating parm reggian at night is something I did for a while as I always craved it but it’s really the worst time for it (the effect it has on sleep is real and I def gained some quick body fat)

@saturnmissiles hmm what about bone broth, would probably scratch it being salty and is good before bed. No crunch tho ofc. We need more high oleic or coconut oil fried stuff, it's definitely coming but not quite yet

Carrot Burfi, amazing Indian carrot dessert

                                  Grate carrots
Fry in butter to your preferred doneness
                                  Add milk and sugar
                                  Let reduce until thick
Mix in a ground coriander and lemon zest at the end
                                  Let chill

The spice is really what makes it special. You can add more than just coriander too. Look up a recipe if you need measurements, but it's all to taste/preference anyway

                                  Dare to bare your heart

                                    @nazi

                                    Gelatin: 2 teaspoons
                                    Water: 1/2 cup
Selected fresh fruit (e.g. kiwi, mango, strawberries): 200 g
                                    Honey: 2 tablespoons
                                    Orange juice: 100 ml
                                    Calorie content: About 260 kcal

Soak the gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water for 5 minutes. Heat the orange juice in a small pot without bringing it to a boil. Add soaked gelatin to the juice, stir until completely dissolved. Cut the fruit and place them in bowls. Pour the warm juice and gelatin mixture over the fruit. Leave to set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Sweeten with honey before serving.

Frozen raspberries (organic are 3x more expensive but really 3x sweeter and tastier)
