for some reason instant coffee taste like acetone/nail polish/alcohol to me even mixed with tablespoon of sugar and a cup of milk. Anyone else have the same experience?

@raypneat Is it just one specific brand? If so it's probably spoiled/contaminated. If this happens every time with multiple brands it's probably something to do with your tongue's microbiome

@raypneat Folgers is disgusting, that's probably why it tastes off. Of the widely available brands I find Jacobs Cronat Gold is the best

Mt. Hagen Organic is alright. But yea instant coffee is certainly an acquired taste, or a survival mechanism if you're in such a low energy state that you can't actually make your own cup of the real stuff easily, and want to cheap out instead of paying a premium for a depressed barista.
Mexican coke+bvit-maxxing has pretty much eliminated my cravings for instant coffee.
1 tbsp Mt Hagen+Great Lakes Collagen + Salted Organic grass-fed Butter + 1/8tsp creatine monohydrate + 1/32 tsp of non-lab cordyceps and some other mushrooms. Also a touch of the shilajit junk
