Powdered cream, etc
-
Of course food processing is suspect, fresh is better, and additives ought to be avoided. But is there any intrinsic reason to avoid powdered cream itself? Or even whole milk, buttermilk, or other fat containing dairy item? (Thought I had read something about the cholesterol component) Ie, is the product itself markedly compromised when it is dried and pulverized, at least by peatarian standards? Thanks for reading/responding.

@16charactersitis Ray stopped recommending milk powder because the process of dehydrating it increases the oxidation of the protein and not only lowers the protein value but increases its toxicity and allergenicity.
-
@Sugarnotsnow he stopped recommending it because of the new nanoparticles used in production to prevent clumping.
"Trudy asks, "I would love to know Dr. Ray Peat's stance on colostrum powder and powdered milk." One thing that I just ran across a few months ago was that the dehydrating and powder producing industry has sometime in recent years, they have begun using nanoparticles to prevent clumping ”
