Blue corn vs yellow corn masa

Is blue corn better than yellow corn for masa harina? I cant remember ray ever talking about blue corn but I saw some people in the peat sphere say that they digest blue corn chips better than yellow. Why would this be?

Not sure, but the benefits of the masa harina is in how it is made (nixtamalization) so I think the corn itself wouldn't matter much. -

@Serotoninskeptic it’s all awful unless deep fried in my opinion. i have tried to like masa corn tortillas but they taste too alkaline and even after being cooked dont really taste “cooked” unless they are deep fried after. i mean ill def eat them if someone served it or once in awhile but as a staple id just choose something else
