      Has anyone had success with buying raw thyroid powders and making their own? I donโ€™t imagine it would be very difficult and youโ€™d have a lifetime supply for a small fraction of the cost.

        @RawGoatMilk88 Ray once outlined the way the old Armour company standardized their thyroid product. It seems like a rather intricate and ressource intensive process to make a good, consistent product. I doubt it is as easy as just drying up a thyroid gland and crushing it.

            @Kvothe I think it's not so much a question of hard work, and more one of having very expensive lab equipment and access to laboratory test animals.
