How to lower progesterone - Elevated Progesterone in men

I am 22 year old male, 186cm 78kg really active but my progesterone is elevated.

My provider has a reference range of 0.00 - 3.00 nmol/L. I tested my progesterone for the first time 1.5 years ago and it came out at: 5.00 nmol/L. I tested it again some days ago and it came out at 4.30 nmol/L. Lower but still above the reference range.

Cant find any info online when it comes to men and progesterone. Can anybody explain why my progesterone is high and how to lower it?

*Note: I started taking Finasteride 8 months ago, and my Testosterone and free T went up 150% and 100% respectively while my E2 also doubled to 57 pg/mL. Progesterone decreased from 5.00 to 4.30 nmol/L.

I talked to Danny Roddy via Patreon, and he told me it could be a defensive reaction to stress. Essentially, the body ups its protective hormones when challenged. In my case, it applied to elevated serum progesterone in hyperthyroidism, which I developed after elevating my metabolism with Cynoplus, while probably lacking necessary resources. Finasteride's endocrine-disruptive effects are well known, and in case of the high E2, stress is very likely. Danny also said supplementing progesterone could lower serum progesterone, but I haven't tried that and would obviously be vigilant about taking exogenous hormones. The wording is a little unclear, did your progesterone elevate after taking Finasteride, or was that an issue you had before? I can also really recommend booking a consultation with Danny, although it is pretty expensive ($150).
