Bioelectric or Bioenergetic Current and NeuX Technologies for Chronic Pain/Injuries/Rehab/Movement Dysfunction and Athletic Performance
-
@sphenoid It looks like SCENAR is a brand. I am not super familiar with them, but our tech is different than what they're describing. One of the biggest challenges we have is distinguishing from the very big category of modalities that sound similar to us, but are in fact quite different. Our tech finds neuromuscular dysfunction by finding tissue impedance. This impedance is felt by the person receiving the treatment. On "healthy" tissue a person will feel a light tingling and on "injured" tissue the intensity increases significantly. Essentially, the waveforms cannot flow through the tissue easily, because the tissues cannot contract and relaxed efficiently. Once we find these 'weaknesses' we treat them with the same stimulus.

@thebodyelectric_ Very interesting, is there any literature on how to learn more on the subject and the specifics of the technology?
I also see you guys are partnered with some universities and athletes, are there any competitors on the market or are you the only ones using the tech? As a CSCS who incorporates bioelectric modalities such as SCENAR, PEMF, and photobiomodulation, it has bothered me that multi million dollar operations such as professional sports teams use archaic and often backwards approaches so it's refreshing to see this posted.

@sphenoid Yes, we have two competitors in the market place who are similar. Feel free to shoot me an email at dand@neuxtec.com and I can share more info. Thanks, I appreciate the kind words and excited to share our story with people like you.

Have you ever used the NeuX to treat muscle knots?
-
@CheesedToPeatYou Yes, I would say it is commonly used to treat them . BTW, does anybody know how to "follow" a thread? Even though I started this thread, I didn't get a notification since you didn't tag me! I also have other threads on the forum I would like to follow. Thanks so much!
-
@thebodyelectric_ I have tried to fiugure out how to follow threads but there doesn't seem to be a way. Perhaps our gracious and benevolent overlord @brad could implement a follow thread feature? @brad
@thebodyelectric_ If it can heal myofascial trigger points that means that NeuX works on not just muscle tissue but also on fascia? That is very exciting. Lots of potential to heal people from all kinds of things if you can heal disordered fascia!

@CheesedToPeatYou Thereโs a watch thread option
-
@brad mind sharing how/where :)?
-
@CheesedToPeatYou Yah, we don't talk about the fascia like we ought to primarily bc the culture doesn't focus much on it but I have been trying to encourage our team to incorporate it more. Fascia being piezoelectric our tech definitely seems to influence it it.

@brad oh, I see it now
