@questforhealth I'll try out b1 with iron. Have you considered adding a bit of niacin? It stimulates stomach acid release.
@questforhealth evaporated milk is one of the key things I've been using. I prefer it over condensed milk.
In the past I used green tea extract. Never felt much from it. Green tea lowers iron btw
-
I do take a bit of niacin actually. Helps a lot.
Recently I am trying brazil nuts and raw garlic for mercury toxicity. Garlic works as well as pharma drugs for chelatinf heavy metals. And it’s just food so no horrible side effects. Selenium from nuts helps bins to mercury too?
I need to try brazil nuts, garlic and B1 for a month or two to see what happens.
I think it’s important to know nature gave us everything we need to get healthier and have optimal brain function.
-
@questforhealth I've heard there is so much natural variation in selenium for Brazil nuts that they shouldn't be relied on.
-
well idk I just eat how many I crave. senses can’t lead us to the wrong places. god gave us them for a reason
-
Well well..
Trying to eat more selenium and I already notice a difference and it's been two days. I wonder where this will lead me.
-
Still feeling absolutely exhausted. No idea if there’s a way out of this or anything. I hope there is.
-
Ate some nice liver and kidneys today. Time to repair the damage from charlie’s ‘detox’ program. Charlie is just telling us to do dangerous stuff... Put up with bad symptoms to get a pay off later...
-
Hey Man, I had the same symptoms as yours, I couldn't digest anything, everything felt stuck.
I was reacting badly to almost every molecule inhibiting serotonin transporters.
I had the same exact problem with B1, it improved my symptoms short term before giving me severe anxiety. I tried every co-factor and almost every supplement on the market, as well as psychedelics, but nothing helped until I discovered Agmatine sulfate and Magnesium L-Threonate (I insist on this form as other magnesiums did nothing).
Those two are NMDA antagonists, and I suspect that I had very sensitive NMDA receptors as I was literally getting tense and severly anxious from taking glutamine, L-Theanine or NAC.
After starting Agmatine and Magnesium L-Threonate, I was able to take 200mg of Sulbutiamine without any side effect. My lifetime chronic anxiety disappeared, and I was finally able to digest without having everything hurting my gut and making me lethargic.
You may also be interested in looking at the god gene hypothesis and how this gene impact the amount of monoamines in the brain, leading to more "mystical" experience but maybe also more serotonin.
Selenium also helped me a lot, especially at maintaning a good body temperature, I always had cold extremities that disappeared after starting 400mcg of selenium l selenomethionine, I reduced to 200mcg after a few weeks, and now I don't take it anymore as I can absorb enough from food.
Edit : Brazil nuts did nothing for me, supplemeting Selenium did. I think that the selenium in brazil nuts is not a reliable source as it is poorly absorbed by the body, even more with digestive issues.
-
What a coincidence. I was just reading about NMDA receptors.
I definitely will try up the dose
of selenium. I also love eating kidneys which are a good source of selenium and probably easier digested?I wonder if the bottom line is this is all a problem with mercury. I was reading about how mercury toxicity impacts NMDA receptors.
-
@questforhealth I'd rather call it a synchronicity
-
Did you feel zero benefit from psychedelics? That was my experience.
I’m now at the point where I get psychedelic like experiences just with the use of vitamins or food.
I’m very interested in trying agmatine. Are you in the U.K.? Where can I get clean stuff with no brain poisoning fillers?
-
@questforhealth I did benefit a lot from psychedelics, in fact, without psychedelics I would not have taken my health seriously and couldn't even imagine that it was possible to live a life free of physical and mental illnesses.
I'm living in Europe btw.
Agmatine sulfate is hard to get in UK and Europe, but you can order it easily from the US from Nootropic Depots or Bulk Supplements, 250g for around 35-45€ shipping included.
Memantine, Amantadine, Dextrometorphan are also good in my opinion as I had the chance to try them too. I have a preference for Agmatine and Memantine.
I don't know if Dextrometorphan is otc in UK, if it's the case, it is worth trying to see if NMDA antagonism truly improves symptoms or not before spending 40$.
Gou Teng is also very underrated and is used quite a lot in Japan for ADHD and neurological related issues. It's a mix of NMDA antagonism, serotonin partial agonism and antagonism as well as partial agonism at D2 receptors. From all the herbal supplements I tried for neuroinflammation (and my wife knows how much I tried lol), Gou Teng, Ginkgo Biloba and Panax Ginseng were my favorite.

Just did a liver flush and the future is looking brighter for sure.
Apart from agmatine is there any changes I should make ASAP to ensure proper development of my body and mind?
I’m borderline hyperthyroid so I think that sort of thing is fine in my case, do I just need LOTS of good food etc? More pickaxing soil to put on muscle etc? What does it take to really develop properly? I think if I can get the brain in order the rest can do the same.
-
I feel really androgenic now wtf listening to aggressive music and want to go walk around the forest with an axe again... Did that a week ago and i’m still recovering...
Modern britain is a joke. i’ve walked past police officers with this stuff and they don’t care
To me the biggest miracle is being able to still feel some high androgen feeling despite a stressful childhood etc... maybe it’s easy to think it’s worse than it was.
-
@questforhealth It looks like a noradrenaline response from the liver flush.
Have you tried high dose glycine by any chance?
-
No I haven’t. No one supplement has really helped me.
I get weird headaches with a strange feeling all the time in my head. I have no idea what’s going on. Like a squeezing feeling almost.
I’m considering genetic tests tbh
-
I’ve just been curled up on the floor wanting to scream and pull my hair out. I hope this is mercury poisoning. I know similar symptoms can be caused by mercury poisoning as what charlie was blaming on copper. And all heavy metals are estrogenic...
Agmatine can hopefully alleviate symptoms of mercury poisoning if that is it. If it ends up working that’ll be the greatest discovery of all time. To have myself turn my life around. Severe symptoms all my life and then be able to actually improve them..
-
@questforhealth Those sounds like chronic tension-type headaches.
Regarding glycine, it also works on the NMDA receptor and is heavily depleted in case of toxin related issues, it ensures the proper signaling of glutamate. When glycine is depleted, chain reactions are triggered at hormonal, psychological, gut, and cerebral levels, it will feel like your body isn't able to send the right signal to the gut to digest for exemple or that you feel constantly spaced from yourself, not grounded.
Honestly, with everything you've shared, glycine and agmatine seem like good choices.
And when I talk about high dose of glycine it can go up as 50g if the body is heavily depleted, the good thing with glycine is it's very affordable price.
In any case, I invite you to read up on glycine. Personally, I think it's one of the most important amino acids, especially in the modern world, since its consumption has fallen dramatically and its depletion in the body due to external factors has increased.
I wish you lots of courage in any case, I've been through similar symptoms and I know it's not easy.
-
@Appa
I’ll try get some glycine soon. I also like eating organic ground meat which has some glycine I know. Going to order some ground lamb and glycine next week hopefully.Trying the agmatine tonight. Unfortunately brain fogged to hell since taking lots of zinc etc ... FFS charlie.

@questforhealth It's a great start, however, in a state of energetic crisis such as you describe, your body needs much more, especially if your digestion is badly affected.
The recommended dose of glycine for someone in good health is 10g a day, which would be equivalent to 30g of collagen or gelatin. The amount needed can rise to more than 30g of glycine per dat if the nervous, digestive and hormonal systems are in a bad state.
