@yeyo12 That means it is fake. The app was developed by the Turkish government and has access to the database of every batch of every approved medicine in your country. The QR code of your product doesn’t match that of any registered batch.
Have you considered if the pharmacy is a licensed pharmacy ? Don’t take it up with us, you should go back to your pharmacy and see why your medicines aren’t authentic - that’s literally the whole point of why the app was developed in your country! You can easily authenticate the legitimacy of your product with another pharmacist.
Your logic is - the pharmacy must be authentic and law binding, therefore my medicine must be real to! This doesn’t happen in the real world. Pharmacies can do illegal things too. Counterfeit goods are a massive issue in Turkey, as seen by our experiences in this thread.
“Recently in Turkey, a counterfeit cancer drug has been realized from its package and it was reported that 95 patients did not get the treatment they sup- posed”
-
@alfredoolivas they're not updating the database as far as i know.
that app is just an old news
-
@yeyo12 How do you know? "It" still isn't old news. It's a whole company that has advanced Turkey's digital healthcare system, and the healthcare system relies on it.
Their website was updated less than a month ago. They regularly update their website with news and blog posts, and helped with recent events such as earthquakes."İTS operates within a large ecosystem that includes more than 30,000 pharmacies, 425 manufacturers, 711 pharmaceutical wholesalers, more than 20,000 consumption centers, 58 exporters and 50 reimbursement institutions . This strong infrastructure protects patient safety and market integrity by providing complete tracking and monitoring at every stage of the pharmaceutical supply chain. This innovative system developed by Tiga is also being implemented at the national level in two different countries outside of Turkey. Recognized internationally, İTS has proven its global effectiveness in terms of drug safety, transparency and digital transformation in healthcare logistics by winning the United Nations (UN) World Information Society Summit (WSIS) Champion e-Health Project Award twice."

@alfredoolivas Bro I just tested 6 different drugs on this app and all of them gave the same results.
Unless they're all fake, which I know they're not because for example, exemestane and proplanolol do work and I can feel them, this app is just broken.
In Turkey, pharmacies are everywhere and they're all licensed and it's super easy to get the drugs. I'm not saying they are NOT fake 100% but if they are, the whole country must've been dead by now lol.
-
@yeyo12 Counterfeit drugs can still have the active ingredient in them. They can be perfectly safe to consume, whilst being counterfeit.
So you liked the effects of the drugs and therefore they aren’t counterfeit? I have bought Tiromel, Bitiron, Exemstane and Proviron from Turkey, and I liked all them - but they were all fake.
I know pharmacies have to be licensed but that doesn’t mean some won’t break the law and sell counterfeit medicines. Instead of discussing this with me, you should be discussing with your local health care system, as this app is funded by and works with the government. They will provide you information about the app.
-
@alfredoolivas How do you know they were all fake? Just by that app?
I'm not gonna do it obviously, but if I were to scan all the freaking drugs in my house + family house, I know they're all giving the same results on this app that NO ONE knows about and uses btw.
And if that's the case, it's probably case for everyone in this small town that I'm living in. And you're saying, in this small town everyone is getting and using and are treated by fake drugs?
That's just nonsense, sorry.
-
@yeyo12 I know they were fake, because Proviron. isn’t even produced anymore, apart from the Middle East. Furthermore the expiration dates for Tiromel didn’t change in a year (after 30 packages) and everyone I spoke too had the same expiration dates.
As a matter of fact what is the expiration dates for your thyroid? It’s pointless us arguing when you have access to communication with the health care system. If you aren’t going to investigate this, (why aren’t you?) I will and ask find what the current status of this app.
“No one knows or uses about this app”.
It has 100k downloads on the google play store
-
@alfredoolivas Turkey has 90 million population my friend. I can assure you no one in the health care system knows about that app and system too. It's a private company. I remember when it came out, it was all over the news, and no one really gave a shit, because it wasn't working well and everyone just forgot about it. This was years ago.
Proviron is a different case because that's a very popular drug in the bodybuilding scene and they're known to be faked a lot. There's literally no reason to fake propalonol.
I haven't been able to find Proviron in years btw -- no pharmacy carries it anymore. Only websites, which again, that are very possible to give you fake drugs.
I have different dates, I've been buying tiromel and bitiron for years. The ones I have rn is 2025 and 04.2026.
Not sure if I have 2027
-
@yeyo12 Expiration dates for my tiromel is 04/2026. bitiron 11/2026.
-
@yeyo12 What is the 2025 one, is it for Tiromel? 04.2025?
-
@alfredoolivas I just realized your Tiromel boxes don't have little bumps that mine have. That might be something to consider.
My boxes have bunch of little bumpy texture thingies.
-
@yeyo12 Mine have that too. It's called brail, for blind patients. It's only on one side right? Thats maybe why it wasn't visible.

@sushi_is_cringe Can you delete your comment and move elsewhere? Start a new thread about this, but don't bring this heat over here, we were having a constructive conversation.
-
@alfredoolivas i actually did it before you asked
-
@sushi_is_cringe Thank you

I dunno man, to fake tiromel like this, with perfect boxes and perfect blisters, It would have to be an operation with connections to the original manufacturer. At the same time it leaves me a little uneasy since it is the first time doing T3 & T4. Maybe ill try to contact the manufacturer, or the app devs...
-
@yeyo12 Look, I have been invalidating your experiences a lot, and I apologise. It is authoritarian of me to do so. I can't argue with your experiences.
In the end, I am just projecting my experiences. Me and @AL have been ordering Tiromel and Bitiron that clearly has been vandalised to hide it's legitamacy. I have also noticed that for a straight year, the expiration dates hadn't changed, and that hundreds of vendors across the globe had access to Tiromel - and customers all over the world had the same expiration dates as me (4 people, in Turkey, Canada, Scotland, Ireland). When I noticed that the QR codes were illegitimate on the app, I was fully convinced, and still am, that any Tiromel sold internationally is fake. I also noticed that the fake bg tiromel from @AL had the same expiraiton date as yours.
That is why I have been coming across with such bias. I have no idea about your supply, and in the end, it's impossible to know. So I apologise for pretending like i do.
-
@AL There sure is a lot of connections to the original manufacturer.... This is Page 1 and 2 of searching "Tiromel" on google images. These are all vendors, from all over the world.
The only people that legally have access to the original manufacturer are companies that stock medicine to sell to pharmacies. Pharmacies then proceed to resell them on the black market.
It is impossible for all these resellers, all over the globe to have access to this pharmaceutical, and then proceed to sell it for $20.
