Eczema

I’d like to hear about anyone’s experience with eczema, and especially potential treatments.
My toddler is currently dealing with it and it’s pretty rough. Doctor prescribed hydrocortisone but I hesitate to use it.
Anyway I’m just trying to learn as much as I can about the topic, any input helps. Thanks
