      RayP says milk is the ideal food but he's never spoken in favor of raw milk. Quite the opposite, as he's said that pasteurization or UHT could sit better with some people's digestion.

      I'm always paranoid about drinking regular milk because of all the health grifter promoting raw milk as not only better but the only way to drink milk, since pasteurized milk's protein and fat are less bioavailable

        @Hugh
        im drinking close to a gallon of a1 non-organic grocery store milk daily with no issues. i use sugar and cacao power to make homemade chocolate milk. digestion is fine, and my muscles are growing like crazy, it feels just as anabolic (maybe even more) than red meat or eggs, so protein quality is definitely not an issue.

        since i drink so much milk i need to make sure thats its not ice cold straight out of the fridge or i can get cold, so i let the milk sit out a bit before making my chocolate milk. also i make sure to get at least one solid red meat meal with lots of salt for dinner.

        breakfast for dinner enjoyer

          @Chud I see. That's good to know. I used to get a lot of flatulence from milk, which I assume was from the inability to digest lactose, but after a month or so of cyproheptadine it completely stopped.

              Quality is the biggest factor imo. There was one summer where the Prairie Farms brand was completely fine for me, and there was another brand purely A2 that was 95% if I had to put a number on it. I have Great Value lactose free milk as a result. Lactose from Land-o-Lakes half-and-half doesn't bother me at all even having several ounces a day, that being about one cup of whole milk's worth, since cream doesn't have lactose.

              My dad's theory, growing up on a farm where none of the dairy bothered him, was the cream being removed from commercial milk, and especially pasteurization, removed important digestive factors. He said when he'd milk the cows he said the milk would come out a golden color, and he could only have dairy without issue if it was that color.
