      Personal anecdote. For weed addicts it is probably beneficial to avoid going into stressful states of hysteria, while you try to cease use.

        @latin I know people that used cyproheptadine to help come off of severe addiction to opioids.

        One person I know who used cypro during his second attempt at quitting said that compared to the first time without cyproheptadine the one with cypro was like a walk in the park.

        Both cypro and lisuride oppose serotonin many of the withdrawal symptoms are due to elevated serotonin.

        This case study shows an example of someone who was withdrawing from clozapine and were also taking cypro. When they stopped taking the cypro they experienced serotonin syndrome.

          @Verdad I would imagine cypro would reduce a lot of the trauma responses that lead people to cope with substances.
