Lipofuscin Removal
-
On the old forum there was a thread about Eugenol removing lipofuscin, but there weren’t any accounts of anyone having tried to my recollection. I recently decided to give it a shot and added 3 drops of clove oil to an ounce of MCT oil, (creating a .5% solution) and applied this topically on a spot on my left temple. Sure enough, it’s been about three days, (applying this once daily by dipping my finger in the solution and dabbing the lipofuscin) and it’s significantly faded to the point of nearly being gone.
I remember the old thread also mentioning aspirin I believe, and so it should be noted that I also take aspirin daily currently.

@Regina my wife is giving it a shot on a few spots. I’ll update the thread further.

@evan-hinkle Cool.
I'm going to make a slurry of clove with kokum butter.I made a kokum butter doxycycline slurry for a mass on my dog. The slurry dissolved the mass in freakish time.
I'll report back........

@Regina fantastic news about your pup! My wife makes soap and has all sorts of butters and pufa free/low pufa oils at her disposal. I will be trying this myself! Thank you very much for the tip!
